All 32 accused in Babri Masjid demolition case acquitted

The CBI Special Court in Lucknow has acquitted all the 32 accused in the Babri Demolition case.
 
The court said, there was no conclusive proof against the accused.
 
The case relates to the razing of the disputed structure in Ayodhya on 6th of December 1992.
 
The 32 accused persons include former Deputy Prime Minister L. K. Advani, former Union Minister M. M. Joshi, former Union Minister Uma Bharti and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh. 
 
The CBI, which went into the case, produced 351 witnesses and 600 documents as evidence before the court.

The court had initially framed charges against 49 accused; 17 accused have died during the course of time.

Feb 10, 2021 ,  8:46PM Massive rescue and search operation continues in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand AIR Pics In Uttarakhand, a team of more than 800 personnel comprising various forces including marines from Navy continued rescue and search operation throughout the day at the calamity site in Chamoli district. Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. The herculean effort to reach the trapped people through the slush and heavy boulders continued on the fourth consecutive day at the calamity site in Chamoli district.
