Campaigning in full swing for second & third Phase of Bihar assembly elections

In Bihar, campaigning is in full swing for the Second and Third phase of assembly elections. For the second phase, polling will be held on 3rd November in 94 assembly seats while for the Third phase polling will take place on 7th November in 78 constituencies. 
 
Leaders of all political parties are holding public meetings and rallies in support of their candidates. Star campaigner of BJP and CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath addressed a rally in Daraunda in Siwan. He claimed that only NDA can give corruption and crime free governance in Bihar. Mr Adityanath appealed to people before casting their votes they should remember the track record of RJD led past government.
 
Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Nitya Nand Rai are also holding rallies in support of NDA candidates.
 
BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi who was recently cured of COVID-19 infection will hold road shows in Madhubani and Sitamarhi today. AIR correspondent reports that JD(U) President and CM Nitish Kumar addressed a rally in Harinatand in Valimiki Nagar. During his address Mr Kumar said NDA government is committed for development of Bihar while RJD is a pocket party which is limited to only one family.
 
Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot will address public meetings in Patna Sahib and Bankipur.
 
CPI leader D Raja, Kanhaiya Kumar, CPM leader Sitaram Yechury and CPI-ML leader Kavita Krishnan will also hold rallies.
 
For the second and third phase several offbeat candidates and professionals are in the fray. Among the nominees are several RTI activists, bureaucrats, educationists, technocrats and MBA degree holders.
