Centre has invited farmers for talks with high level ministerial committee today. In a letter addressed to the protesting farmers, Secretary, Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare Ministry, Sanjay Agarwal invited farmer leaders for talks at 3 PM at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has said that farmer leaders present in the first round of talks have been invited for the dialogue. The invitation came after consultations among senior BJP leaders over ways to reach farmers’ leaders in order to end the stalemate. Farmers’ organisations are agitating against the new farm laws.

Home Minister Amit Shah has urged protesting farmers to move to Nirankari Samagam ground in Burari area of Delhi, the site earmarked for their protest.
