Rajasthan govt decides to close schools, colleges, cinema, entertainment parks in state till Dec 31

Rajasthan government has said that schools, colleges, cinema, entertainment parks etc will remain closed in the state till December 31.

The move comes after  sharp rise in COVID-19 cases in the state.  

The state reported 18 coronavirus deaths yesterday, taking the total number of fatalities to 2,292. State also reported 2,518 fresh cases. The maximum number of 555 fresh cases were detected in Jaipur, followed by 395 cases in Jodhpur.

A total of 2 lakh 34 thousand 336 patients have recovered from the infection in the state and the number of active cases is at 28,758.
