3 Terrorists killed in an encounter in the outskirts of Srinagar

In Kashmir valley, three terrorists were  killed in an ongoing encounter between terrorists and security forces in Hokarsar area on the outskirts of Srinagar.

Police sources told AIR that 

three terrorists have been killed this morning in fresh exchange of firing between hiding terrorists  and security forces.

The identity of the 

slain terrorists is yet to be ascertained. SECURITY forces had launched cordon and search operation in the area last evening on specific input  about presence of terrorists . As searching party reached the targeted house, terrorists opened fire triggering an encounter. The police sources said the operation was suspended in the night to avoid collateral damage. However, cordon was strengthened to prevent terrorists from escaping. The operation was on  when reports last came in.

Feb 10, 2021 ,  8:46PM Massive rescue and search operation continues in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand AIR Pics In Uttarakhand, a team of more than 800 personnel comprising various forces including marines from Navy continued rescue and search operation throughout the day at the calamity site in Chamoli district. Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. Around 170 people are still missing and 25 to 35 persons are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. The herculean effort to reach the trapped people through the slush and heavy boulders continued on the fourth consecutive day at the calamity site in Chamoli district.
