Boxing Day Test between India and Australia to begin at Melbourne tomorrow

India’s squad for the second Test against Australia was announced today. Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammad Siraj are in the playing Eleven for the Boxing Day Test, starting from tomorrow at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

India will take on the Aussies in the absence of regular skipper Virat Kohli. Ajinkya Rahane-led team will have two debutants, Shubman Gill and Mohd Siraj, in the team. While Wriddhiman Saha has been replaced by Rishabh Pant and all rounder Ravindra Jadeja is also making a comeback to the Test side. 

India had lost the opener of the four match test series played at Adelaide.

Feb 10, 2021 ,  8:46PM Massive rescue and search operation continues in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand AIR Pics In Uttarakhand, a team of more than 800 personnel comprising various forces including marines from Navy continued rescue and search operation throughout the day at the calamity site in Chamoli district. Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. Around 170 people are still missing and 25 to 35 persons are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. The herculean effort to reach the trapped people through the slush and heavy boulders continued on the fourth consecutive day at the calamity site in Chamoli district.
