The second test cricket between India and England begins at Chepauk in Chennai tomorrow. The MA Chidambaram Stadium that hosted the first test match has been curated for the second test as well. The hosts will try to pull out a victory in the second test, as it conceded victory to the visitors in the first one.

Meanwhile, England is entering the fray with the resolve to maintain its lead and has made four changes in the composition of its team.

AIR Correspondent reports, though this is the second test match to be played out in the historic MA Chidambaram stadium at Chepauk in Chennai after a long drought, this is the first one to be watched by the diehard cricket fans in person post COVID-19 pandemic. The organisers are enthused by the reception to the game as the tickets were sold out fully in record time.

Incidentally, the last time Chennai hosted a test match has also been against England. The red-ball action was held in December 2016. Though fans are allowed this time, only 50 per cent of the gallery are thrown open to maintain social distancing. A win in the second test would be a great morale booster for the team as the series consists of just four test matches.
