Discussion on Budget to resume in Lok Sabha at 10 today

The sitting of the Lok Sabha will be held at 10 AM today instead of 4PM. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will reply to the discussion on Union Budget for 2021-2022 in the House. Besides, the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization ( Amendment) Bill is also listed in the business of the Lok Sabha.

The bill has already been passed by the Rajya Sabha.

Feb 10, 2021 ,  8:46PM Massive rescue and search operation continues in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand AIR Pics In Uttarakhand, a team of more than 800 personnel comprising various forces including marines from Navy continued rescue and search operation throughout the day at the calamity site in Chamoli district. Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. Around 170 people are still missing and 25 to 35 persons are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. The herculean effort to reach the trapped people through the slush and heavy boulders continued on the fourth consecutive day at the calamity site in Chamoli district.
