Gujarat govt extends night curfew in four cities of Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot till Feb end

Gujarat government has extended the night curfew imposed in four metro cities of Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot till the end of this month. The previous notification of night curfew in these four cities expired yesterday. The State Home Department said, the curfew will remain in place from midnight to 6 AM from February 16 to 28. The aim is to bring down the number of coronavirus cases.

Feb 10, 2021 ,  8:46PM Massive rescue and search operation continues in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand AIR Pics In Uttarakhand, a team of more than 800 personnel comprising various forces including marines from Navy continued rescue and search operation throughout the day at the calamity site in Chamoli district. Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. Around 170 people are still missing and 25 to 35 persons are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. The herculean effort to reach the trapped people through the slush and heavy boulders continued on the fourth consecutive day at the calamity site in Chamoli district.
