India sends 1 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine to Fiji under Vaccine Maitri initiative

Under the Vaccine Maitri initiative of Government of India, Made in India vaccines reached Fiji today.
 
Prime Minister of Fiji Frank Bainimarama in a tweet said, Vaccine Maitri has arrived to Fiji with 1 lakh doses of life-saving COVID-19 vaccines. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for helping them take the giant step towards a post-pandemic future for Fiji and for the world.

Feb 10, 2021 ,  8:46PM Massive rescue and search operation continues in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand AIR Pics In Uttarakhand, a team of more than 800 personnel comprising various forces including marines from Navy continued rescue and search operation throughout the day at the calamity site in Chamoli district. Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. Around 170 people are still missing and 25 to 35 persons are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. The herculean effort to reach the trapped people through the slush and heavy boulders continued on the fourth consecutive day at the calamity site in Chamoli district.
