Centre extends insurance scheme for health workers under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package for one year

Central government has extended the insurance scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package for health workers for a period of one year. Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Harshvardhan said that Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package has provided a safety net to the dependents of corona warriors who lost their lives during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Feb 10, 2021 ,  8:46PM Massive rescue and search operation continues in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand AIR Pics In Uttarakhand, a team of more than 800 personnel comprising various forces including marines from Navy continued rescue and search operation throughout the day at the calamity site in Chamoli district. Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. Around 170 people are still missing and 25 to 35 persons are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. The herculean effort to reach the trapped people through the slush and heavy boulders continued on the fourth consecutive day at the calamity site in Chamoli district.
