PM Modi to hold meeting today to review COVID-19 & vaccination situation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting this evening to review the COVID-19 and vaccination situation in the country.
 
Top officers across various ministries will participate in the meeting.
 
The Prime Minister had interacted with Governors on 14th of this month and Chief Ministers on 8th of this month on Covid-19 situation in the country.

Dec 20, 2020 ,  8:21AM Election Commission issues advisory on transfer and posting of officials in states where assembly elections are due next year AIR Pics Election Commission of India has issued advisory to Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Puducherry for transfer and posting of officers connected with conduct of assembly elections to be held next year. ECI has advised that government officers directly connected with the conduct of elections must not be posted in her or his home district. It said officers against whom the Commission had recommended disciplinary action in past and which is pending or which has resulted in a penalty or the officers who have been charged for any lapse in any election or election related work in the past, should not be assigned any election related duty. Feb 10, 2021 ,  8:46PM Massive rescue and search operation continues in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand AIR Pics In Uttarakhand, a team of more than 800 personnel comprising various forces including marines from Navy continued rescue and search operation throughout the day at the calamity site in Chamoli district. Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel.
