PM Modi to hold meeting with Council of Ministers today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with the Council of Ministers later in the day today. He is expected to review the overall COVID-19 situation in the country and discuss the ongoing vaccination programme.
 
Political observers feel the Council of Ministers meeting assumes significance as it is being held at a time when political circles are abuzz with speculation of a Cabinet expansion and reshuffle. The meeting will be held virtually.

Feb 10, 2021 ,  8:46PM Massive rescue and search operation continues in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand AIR Pics In Uttarakhand, a team of more than 800 personnel comprising various forces including marines from Navy continued rescue and search operation throughout the day at the calamity site in Chamoli district. Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. Around 170 people are still missing and 25 to 35 persons are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. The herculean effort to reach the trapped people through the slush and heavy boulders continued on the fourth consecutive day at the calamity site in Chamoli district.
