Defence minister Rajnath Singh will leave for Tajikistan’s capital Dushanbe today to participate in Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s Defence Ministers meet. Main engagement, which is tomorrow, includes a joint call on by the SCO defence ministers with Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon.

The SCO as a grouping occupies 60 per cent of the Eurasian continent, which is over 34 million square kilometres. SCO countries is having a population of over three billion, that is almost half of the world’s population.

Feb 10, 2021 ,  8:46PM Massive rescue and search operation continues in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand AIR Pics In Uttarakhand, a team of more than 800 personnel comprising various forces including marines from Navy continued rescue and search operation throughout the day at the calamity site in Chamoli district. Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. Around 170 people are still missing and 25 to 35 persons are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. The herculean effort to reach the trapped people through the slush and heavy boulders continued on the fourth consecutive day at the calamity site in Chamoli district.
