Legendary badminton player Nandu Natekar passes away; President, Vice President and Prime Minister express grief

Legendary badminton player Nandkumar Mahadev Natekar popularly known as Nandu Natekar passed away today early morning in Pune.

In a career spanning 15 years, Natekar won over 100 national and international titles including six times national singles title. Natekar was the first Indian badminton to win an international title in 1956. He was also the first Indian sportsman to receive the Arjuna Award.
