Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the IPS probationers at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), today at 11 AM through video conferencing. The Prime Minister will also interact with the probationers during the event, in which Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai will also be present.

It may be recalled that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi while interacting with IPS Probationers, last September, had
underlined the importance of police-public relations, the reciprocal attitude of the police and the public to the expected and performed tasks of the police, and to involve general public relations, community services, and community participation.

SVPNPA, the premier police training institution in the country is situated at the historic city of Hyderabad. It trains officers of the Indian Police Service, who have been selected through an All India based Civil Services Examination.
