Two unidentified terrorists gunned down in south Kashmir’s Pulwama

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, two unidentified terrorists were gunned down today morning in a gunfight that broke out between terrorists and security forces in Pulwama district.

J&K Police in a tweet said that the location of the encounter site was between Namibian & Marsar of Dachigam forests in Pulwama district of south Kashmir. The identity of the slain terrorists is being ascertained.

Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. Around 170 people are still missing and 25 to 35 persons are feared to be trapped in the tunnel. The herculean effort to reach the trapped people through the slush and heavy boulders continued on the fourth consecutive day at the calamity site in Chamoli district.
