Bihar govt eases COVID-19 curbs from today; Schools, Shops, Cinema Halls and Shopping Malls to reopen

Bihar government has further eased Covid-19 curbs from today by allowing the reopening of schools, shops, cinema halls, and shopping malls. Schools have been allowed to resume academic activities with fifty percent attendence in classes 9th and 10th.
Coaching institutions will also function with 50 percent attendance of students on an alternate days. The new relaxations will be effective till August 25.

All shops and business establishments have been allowed to open till 7 pm every day with a weekly closing on one day. Cinema halls can also operate till 7 pm with 50 percent of the seating capacity. Shopping malls will be opened till 7 pm on alternative days. As per the state government guideline, shops, cinema halls, malls have to ensure that their staff is fully vaccinated. They have also been asked to give a list of the staff to the local police station.

Public transport vehicles will be allowed to run with their full capacity of passengers. The night curfew will remain in force from 9 pm to 5 am every day. Religious places will remain closed.
