Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar to launch PM-DAKSH Portal and Mobile Application today

Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar will launch PM-DAKSH Portal and Mobile Application today. This portal and app will make the skill development schemes accessible to the target groups of Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, and Safai Karamcharis. By the virtue of this initiative, the youth of the target groups will now be able to avail the benefits of skill development training programs more easily. The Pradhan Mantri Dakshta Aur Kushalta Sampann Hitgrahi (PM-DAKSH) Yojana is being implemented by the Ministry from the year 2020-21. Under it, the eligible target groups is being provided skill development training programs.

Dec 20, 2020 ,  8:21AM Election Commission issues advisory on transfer and posting of officials in states where assembly elections are due next year AIR Pics Election Commission of India has issued advisory to Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Puducherry for transfer and posting of officers connected with conduct of assembly elections to be held next year. ECI has advised that government officers directly connected with the conduct of elections must not be posted in her or his home district. It said officers against whom the Commission had recommended disciplinary action in past and which is pending or which has resulted in a penalty or the officers who have been charged for any lapse in any election or election related work in the past, should not be assigned any election related duty. Two more bodies were recovered today and the death toll has reached 34 now. AIR Correspondent covering the calamity reports that around 170 people are still missing and some of them are feared to be trapped in the tunnel.
